Why We're Building Yavean: A Mission to Fix UX Research

← Back to blog

Three months ago, I sat in on a product meeting where a talented team spent two hours debating whether to move a button from the left side of a checkout form to the right. They had heatmaps. They had user recordings. They even had interview transcripts. But they still couldn't agree on what to test next.

That meeting stuck with me. Not because it was unusual—but because it was completely normal. Product teams everywhere face the same problem: drowning in data but starving for answers.

The Research Trap

Here's how it usually goes: A product team notices users dropping off somewhere in their flow. They dig into Google Analytics, watch session replays, talk to a handful of users, and eventually land on a hypothesis. Weeks pass. Maybe they run an A/B test. Maybe they just ship the change and hope for the best.

The problem isn't a lack of tools. Teams have access to incredible analytics platforms, session replay software, and design tools like Figma. The problem is that no one is connecting the dots between them.

"What if your design files could talk to your analytics? What if you could automatically see where real users struggle, mapped directly onto your actual designs?"

That question became the seed of Yavean.

What We're Building

Yavean is an AI-powered platform that connects your Figma designs with real user behavior data from Google Analytics and session replay tools. Instead of manually piecing together insights from five different dashboards, our AI does the heavy lifting for you.

Our Core Belief

Every product team deserves access to enterprise-grade UX intelligence without hiring a team of data scientists. AI should do the heavy lifting so humans can focus on building great products.

Here's how it works:

🎨

Upload Figma Designs

Connect your Figma workspace. Yavean learns your design system, components, and user flows.

📊

Connect Analytics

One-click integration with Google Analytics. We monitor real user behavior, clicks, and drop-offs.

🔍

AI Finds Issues

Our agent cross-references designs with behavior data to identify where users actually struggle.

Get Test Ideas

Receive specific A/B test variants with predicted impact, ranked by priority.

Why This Matters

Most product teams aren't slow because they lack talent or tools. They're slow because connecting design intent with user reality is painfully manual. You look at a heatmap, then you open Figma, then you jump back to analytics, then you create a Slack thread to discuss it.

What if that entire process took five minutes instead of five days?

That's the world we're building toward. A world where:

  • Product managers get concrete experiment ideas backed by real data, not opinions
  • UX designers see exactly which parts of their flows cause friction before users churn
  • Growth teams ship tests faster because the hard part—figuring out what to test—is automated
  • Startup founders can compete with enterprise teams without hiring a full analytics department

What Makes Yavean Different

We're not building another analytics dashboard. There are plenty of those. We're building an AI agent that actively works to solve UX problems.

1. We Understand Design Context

When Yavean analyzes user behavior, it knows what your designs are supposed to do. We parse Figma files to understand component hierarchies, design patterns, and intended user flows. This means we can spot mismatches between design intent and real behavior.

2. We Generate Solutions, Not Just Insights

Traditional tools show you heatmaps and say "users are clicking here a lot." Yavean goes further: it tells you why that's happening, proposes specific design changes, and generates A/B test variants automatically.

3. We Prioritize by Impact

Not all UX issues are created equal. Our AI scores experiment ideas by predicted impact based on traffic patterns, conversion data, and similar experiments we've seen work (or fail) for other teams.

Where We Are Today

We're currently working with a small group of early partners who are helping us refine the product. The feedback has been incredible. Teams tell us they're shipping experiments faster, catching UX issues earlier, and finally making use of all that analytics data they've been collecting.

But we're still early. There's a long road ahead, and we're building in public. Here's what we're focused on right now:

  • Expanding integrations: Beyond Figma and Google Analytics, we're adding Adobe XD, Amplitude, and deeper session replay support
  • Improving AI accuracy: Our models are good, but they're not perfect. Every week we fine-tune how the agent interprets behavior patterns
  • Building collaboration features: Teams need to discuss experiments, track results, and share insights with each other
  • Making it accessible: We want startups and small teams to benefit from enterprise-grade UX intelligence without the enterprise price tag

What We Need From You

If you're a product manager tired of endless research cycles, a UX designer frustrated by preventable user friction, or a founder trying to figure out why users aren't converting—we want to hear from you.

We're opening up our waitlist to more teams. Early members get priority access, influence over our roadmap, and the chance to shape how AI-powered UX optimization works for the next generation of product teams.

Our Promise

We're committed to building Yavean in a way that prioritizes:

  • Transparency: We'll share what works, what doesn't, and what we're learning along the way
  • Speed: We ship fast, gather feedback, and iterate quickly. Your input directly shapes the product
  • Accessibility: Great UX tools shouldn't only be available to companies with huge budgets
  • Real value: We're not interested in vanity metrics. We measure success by whether teams actually ship better products faster

Let's Build This Together

This is just the beginning. We have a vision for what UX optimization can look like when AI does the tedious work and humans focus on creativity and strategy. But we can't build it alone.

If this resonates with you, we'd love to have you along for the ride. Join our waitlist, follow us on Twitter, or connect with us on LinkedIn.

Here's to shipping winning experiments faster—together.
